From the Author
This year’s election victory moved me like no other. It was the culmination of an arduous battle, not just for a president, but for the heart and soul of America. It determined that we’re still a nation that wants freedom, small government, and the American Dream, and we still have the fighting spirit necessary to go for it.
That spirit was instilled in us by our founders, and no one in modern times has exemplified it more than Donald Trump. He could be doing what he loves—building golf courses and luxury resorts. Instead, he’s spent the last eight years taking more slings and arrows than anyone ever should, all to try to save this country from running itself off a cliff.
Some argue that he’s done it for financial gain. Really? Odd that he donated his presidential salary. People out for monetary gain don’t typically give up hundreds of thousands of dollars. He also didn’t use the office to make money like so many others have in the past.
In fact, it’s been detrimental for him on many levels, especially in the assassination attempt department. At the same time, an assassination attempt is what showed this country what this man is truly made of:
American fighting spirit.
He didn’t panic or run. He rose up like a fearless leader, inspiring millions, if not billions, of people across the globe. One can argue many political points regarding the election, but no one can deny that the “Fight! Fight! Fight!” moment was not only iconic, but one of the most influential.
It also felt so very… American.
As a general rule, Americans don’t back down. We’re a nation of courage, resilience, and indomitable spirit, which is why that moment resonated strongly with so many. It also provided a reminder for many who had their head in the clouds or had forgotten what we’re all about; freedom isn’t free, and the man on that stage wasn’t taking bullets because he had to.
He was doing it for us, for “We the People.”
Thankfully, enough figured it out so that America officially said “no” to big government corruption, open borders, needless wars, out of control spending, chronic media lies, and so much more. Now, we get to watch—and support in whatever way we can—while Trump, Vance, Elon, RFK, Tulsi, Homan, Hegseth, Bondi, Kash, and the rest of the crew cut the legs out from the under the beast.
Whew, that team is impressive—and that’s only some of them.
But we can’t forget who’s at the helm, who brought them together, and who fought through hell for eight years to get to where we are now. Nor should we forget his journey or what they put him through along the way—which is why I wrote Ode to the Fighter.
I didn’t write it with the intent to sell it; my original intent was merely to send it to President Trump alone. But I feel it makes sense to share it with others, too, and hope this format and presentation will appeal.
Sincerely,
Krystina Liberty
Insider note: President Trump’s version is and will remain one of a kind. :D
